Do you run out of scrunchies in your house? Somehow, between my daughter and myself, we always seem to lose them! This pattern includes two different techniques to create your own scrunchies!

It also features a link to an exclusive, step-by-step video tutorial if that's more your style.

Please check out the #ScrunchAlong running on Instagram April 7-21!

MATERIALS

  • 4.5mm (US Size 7) crochet hook, or size you like best to use with DK weight yarn
  • DK weight yarn (or two strands of fingering weight held together):
    • The smaller version takes 5-10 g
    • The larger version takes 25-50+g, depending on the size and length you make it.

GAUGE
Irrelevant. It’s more important that you like the fabric you make than that you match my gauge.

YARN CHOICE & SUBSTITUTION

Please use any yarn you like that is dk or fingering weight yarn held together.
The smaller version used two strands of fingering together; the larger used a single strand of dk.
This is a great opportunity to use up those partial skeins or mini skeins you need to find a use for!
