It’s time to take to the sea! If you’re bored of boring socks and the thought of knitting another pair of plain socks makes you feel like it’s November in your soul, set sail with a pair of lacy whale tail socks!

These socks can be knit as either anklets or full leg socks - your choice! They feature an easy toe up/short row heel construction so you can just enjoy knitting the whale tail motif!

Sizing:

• Women’s S (US 5-6/EU 35-37): 6.8”/17.15 cm circumference
• Women’s M (US 7-9/EU 37-40): 7.75”/19.7 cm circumference
• Women’s L/XL (US 10-12/EU 41-43): 8.75”/22.25 cm circumference

This pattern includes a foot length chart to help ensure that your socks come out to the perfect fit!

Needles: US 2 (2.75 mm), or size needed to obtain specified gauge

Yarn: 150-300 yds (146-274 m) of fingering weight yarn. Sample uses a discontinued yarn base; Pick your favorite sock yarn that is between 420-470 yds (383-434 m) per 100g skein.
