Beyond the Basics is an ebook designed to help beginner level knitters improve their skills.

• Reading yarn labels
• How and why to make a gauge swatch
• Choosing a high quality knitting pattern
• Choosing needles and why different types of needles are useful
• A list of many common knitting abbreviations and their definitions

It also includes my three "Kari" patterns. Kari Slouchy Hat, Kari Mitts, and Kari Slipper socks. These are all bulky or super bulky weight patterns that are quick and easy.
