I can't be the only one who hates knitting I-cord, can I? I don't just mean I dislike it; I actively avoid knitting any pattern that requires me to knit or apply I-cords!
One day, I saw a video of an I-cord knitting tool on Instagram - the Cordsmith! I'm a sucker for a fun knitting or crochet gadget, so I decided to buy one and give it a try. Since I post a decent amount on social media, I decided to make some videos of myself using it. To my surprise, one went viral on TikTok.
I don't know if you've ever read comments on social media, but the vast majority of them are people asking the same question. This is like knitting posts on Facebook where a zillion people just comment "pattern?" instead of scrolling for answers. The question I was being asked was where could people purchase this tool?
At first, I was linking back to the manufacturer of the tool, Autumn-Eden Goodman of ByAutumn.com but eventually decided to wholesale order some of these tools myself, with my logo on them, and just sell them myself! The tools can currently be purchased in my shop.
That's nice, Ruth, I'm here because I bought one of these tools and don't know how to use it now!
Lucky for you, I have some videos!
Links are sorted by TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube availability.
I'm working on getting all videos on all platforms.
